The Doodad Difference
Doodad Studios is as close to a Hollywood Rental Studio as you are going to find in the Sacramento Region. We created this studio for our own needs as a Film and Computer Animation Company First.
We built Studio Cyclorama because we required a large white area to shoot bigger productions as well as have the ability to build sets to fit any production need. On the same token all our ceilings are raised and the floors are a matte white so there is no reflection. We made sure the whole outter area is PURE black to reduce artifacts onto reflective surfaces as well as sound proofed and dampened the entire area to reduce echo and outside noise. We paid attention to every detail so you dont have to. We also have true chroma key paint by Rosco on our 25′ far wall for those looking for green screen. We opened our doors to the Sacramento film scene to give other productions a Studio Space to be creative!
